Deepika Padukone Skips, Aishwarya-Jaya Come Together For Rajinikanth

It seems all is well in the Bachchan household, at least for the cameras. The hale and hearty Bachchans were spotted in full attendance, except Abhishek Bachchan at the premiere of South superstar Rajinikanth’s film Kochadaiiyaan.

 

Though Kochadaiiyaan actress Deepika Paudkone could not make it to the premiere, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan raised the glamour quotient along with her mother Brinda Rai and in-laws Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. 

 

While Aishwarya kept close to pa-in-law Amitabh, Jaya too moved to his other arm for comfort. The Bachchans carved a happy family picture as the Bachchan bahu was spotted whispering something to Amitabh as Jaya laughed over the joke.

2002 Salman Khan Hit-And-Run Case: FRESH TRIAL BUT SAME OLD STORY As Witness Fails To Appear In Court

The trial in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving actor Salman Khan could not begin on Wednesday as the witnesses did not appear in the sessions court. The first three witnesses were slated to be examined on Wednsday by the prosecution. One of them is the owner of a laundry in suburban Bandra, where the actor had run over his vehicle on people sleeping on the footpath, while the other two are panch witnesses.


The new trial will require that witnesses and evidence be examined again.

The Bollywood superstar — who is accused of driving an SUV onto five sleeping men in 2002 — had to face a fresh trial after prosecutors succeeded in substituting the charge of 'causing death by negligence' with the graver 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder'. The new charge attracts a maximum penalty of 10 years' jail.

Yesteryear Actress Nanda Dies Of Cardiac Arrest; Saira Banu, Asha Parekh, Helen In Shock

vergreen beauty and yesteryear actress Baby Nanda has passed away. She breathed her last at 9:15 am on March 25. Born on January 8,  1939,  Nanda died of cardiac arrest this morning.

 

 

As per sources, "Nanda came out of the bathroom in the morning and suffered a massive cardiac arrest. She fell and passed away at that moment.”

 

 

Her close friends from the industry Asha Parekh, Saira Banu, Helen are in shock. Saira reveals,

“We all are in deep shock. She was healthy till yesterday. Helen had informed me about her health. I last spoke with her on Saturday when she sounded fine. She was just going through a pain in her leg and was absolutely fine. It has come as a shock to Asha Parekh too as we happened to discuss her just yesterday.”

Upset NGO Gives New Name To Aamir Khan's Satyameva Jayate

The new season of Satyameva Jayate as we had reported, earlier, is creating waves pan India. But, there are certain sections of society for instance, a reputed NGO which is upset with Aamir Khan’s presentation of episode on domestic violence, thus, has given a new name to the show.

  

Save India Family Foundation, an institution, fights for the rights of men are miffed and are of an opinion that the superstar host has just put forward plight of women only. What about the domestic violence on men, thus, the NGO wants the name to be changed as Ardha-Satyameva Jayate (Half Truths only Triumph).

Post New Year-Mahashivratri-Holi Vacation, Sanjay Dutt To Return To Jail Today

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is set to go back behind the bars as his three-month long parole ends today. Sanjay Dutt was on parole since December 21 and had stayed longer than usual with two consecutive parole extensions. 

 

Serving sentence for his involvement in the1993 serial blasts case, Sanjay Dutt had requested parole to be on the side of his ailing wife Maanyata and twins Shahraan and Iqra. 

 

The actor had joined his family in the hour of need on December 21 but with Maanyata being admitted to hospital for treatment, he applied for a parole extension.

Charges framed against Saif Ali Khan in Taj Hotel ruckus case

A Mumbai court framed charges against Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and two others in Taj Hotel ruckus case on Wednesday. The charges have been framed under IPC Sections 325, 34.

Saif and his friends-Shakeel Ladak and Bilal Amrohi-were arrested following a complaint filed by Sharma after the two got into a fight at the Wasabi restaurant in Taj Hotel on February 22. The trio was later released on bail.

The 42-year-old actor was accompanied by Kareena Kapoor, her sister Karishma, Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora and some male friends at the Taj when the brawl broke out.

Shocking: Jiah Khan's Mother Rabbiya Blames Salman Khan For Sheltering Her Daughter's Murderer

Yesterday, Rabbiya Khan (late Jiah Khan's mother), held a press conference in Mumbai announcing that she has proof that her daughter was murdered, courtesy a series of sting operations conducted on as many as 8 people. In her statement, Rabbiya also claimed that the Mumbai police has concealed the criminals in this case. And now, the latest to be blamed for helping the Pancholis is actor Salman Khan.  "Movie stars like Salman sheltering the murderers where is the Gods fear and being human all for the front shame on him," Rabbiya posted on Twitter this morning.
