Some were actors by trade who had a single story to tell, told the
story and then turned willingly to another craft. Some were stung by
critical fury, box-office failure or just the endless vagaries of film
financing and so abandoned the job for good
The film industry can be a harsh maiden of a business; one minute,
talent will be treated like royalty, the next minute, they will be a
thing of the past.
Bollywood is an industry permanently fixated on what is hot and
new, but not so much what’s old and done, unless you can find new ways
to prove your worth and, if possible, reinvent yourself.
They came, they reigned and they basked in self glory before they faded into oblivion.
They were the one film wonders.That one major hit that propelled
them to fast fame, but they failed to ascend beyond that fluke. But then
there were also those who failed to taste success even with a much
celebrated release.
